Hardware and software included

Hardware

We are often asked what comes with our refurbished devices. This can vary depending on the device. At iUsed, you always get a corresponding adapter for a MacBook or a power cable for an iMac. If you've chosen an iMac, it comes standard with a wireless Apple keyboard and a wireless MagicMouse. The iPhone and iPad also come with a standard charger. The iPhone also includes a SIM pin, but no earphones, due to hygiene reasons.

Software

Each Mac comes with various useful apps for the things you do every day. For example, Safari for browsing, Photos for managing photos and videos, Time Machine for backups, and FaceTime for video calls. Additionally, there are apps for emailing and texting, writing notes, and updating your contacts and calendar. There's even an app for downloading or purchasing new apps: the App Store.

*We do not include the Microsoft Office package with our devices

An inbox full of handy features

Mail is the simple and versatile way to manage email on your Mac. Setup is easy, and it works great with services like iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo!, AOL, and Microsoft Exchange. Do you have multiple email accounts? No problem. You can add all your accounts to Mail and view all your emails from one central place. With handy swipe gestures, you can quickly delete or mark messages as unread, allowing you to process your emails in no time. There’s also an improved full-screen view where you can work with multiple messages at once. Mail even helps manage your calendar and keep your contacts up to date, all from your inbox.

The perfect app for all your messages

Are you a fan of Messages on your iPhone? It works just as well on your Mac. You can send unlimited messages to anyone with a Mac, iOS device, or Apple Watch. You can also share photos, videos, documents, audio clips, and contact information. You’ll know when your message is delivered and when someone is typing a response. With end-to-end encryption, your messages are secure, and your privacy is ensured. And those green messages on your iPhone? They’re also on your Mac. All your conversations are synced across all your devices, so you can start a conversation on your iPhone and continue on your Mac.

Your smile is never far away

With FaceTime, you can make video calls on your Mac. You can chat and laugh with anyone who also has a Mac or iOS device. It only takes one click to catch up. Start a call by typing the name, email address, or phone number of the person you want to talk to. You can also start a call from Contacts, Messages, or Spotlight. When someone calls you, you’ll get a notification, and you can accept or decline the call. You can also reply via Messages or set a callback reminder. This even works when FaceTime isn’t open, so you’ll never have to worry about missing a call.

An app that’s perfect for making plans

With Calendar, you keep control of your schedule and share it with others. You can create different calendars, for example, one for home, one for school, and one for business appointments. View them all in one window or choose to display only the calendars you need at the moment. Using the info window, you can add a location to your event. As you type, location suggestions are shown, along with maps and weather forecasts. When it’s time to leave, you’ll get a notification. And if you use iCloud, everything you change in Calendar on your Mac will also be updated on your iOS devices and Apple Watch. So, you’ll never miss a lunch meeting, appointment, or birthday again.

Your music and movies in the spotlight

iTunes is the heart of all your entertainment on your Mac. It’s the best way to manage and expand your collection of music and movies. Listen to free on-demand radio stations with Apple Music, featuring songs and artists carefully selected based on your preferences. You’ll also discover new artists, albums, and genres. And with an Apple Music subscription, you have unlimited access to over 30 million songs in the Apple Music library.

 iWork, Garageband, and iMovie

You can download iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynote), Garageband, and iMovie for free on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac via the App Store.
